I am so, SO thrilled to bring the second guest writer to Earl Earl. This time we have Keven Amfo, who is a freelance writer living between London and NYC. She is the mother of two and loves small beach towns, fashion, wine, and knitting—especially simultaneously. Here’s her story -
I am the mother of two daughters: a seven-month-old baby and a 16-year-old teenager. When I was pregnant, well-meaning quasi-strangers often asked, “Is this your first?” No, I’d reply; I actually have a 16 year old as well. Following that initial look of shock, the typical response would be, “Wow! How lucky, a built-in babysitter.” I’d smile, then keep it moving, the pit in my gut having returned: no, that probably won’t be happening.
