Little tidbits from around the internet.
THESE UNBEARABLY CUTE SHOES
No, that wasn’t a bear pun - these are from Oso & Me’s collab with Childrenchic and there are three other styles, including a mary jane with a bow, a regular velcro sneaker, and toddler shoes - and all of them are insanely cute. My daughter just saw these on my computer screen and asked if she could have them. Oso & Me, $56
THE COZIEST SWEATER
Every fall, I invest in one or two really nice sweaters. Usually just one, but then I add it to my slowly growing collection of knits, and I care for it very carefully because I know I’ll have it forever. I’m eyeing this one this year - I don’t have any sweaters that aren’t a solid, and I like this one because it’s weird, but won’t be like too weird with jeans. Zadig & Voltaire, $598
FOUR PERFECT PAIRS OF SHOES FOR FALL
Moms love flats.
a: These are great little simple pointy ballet flats - I like them because you don’t have to fuck with a buckle. Perfect for running out of the house in the morning for dropoff. A Emery, $210
b: These are very fancy, but are great for mom events and work stuff. They’re very fashiony, but also very classic so you can wear them season after season. Bottega Veneta, $1,100
c: And now! A very sweet, gorgeous velvet pair. I’d wear these with jeans and a sweater and pretend to live in the English countryside. Le Monde Beryl, $470
d: I am obsessed with these, which you know if you also read my other newsletter, Earl Earl. The T strap reminds me of the Oso & Me shoes, but these are somehow not juvenile or lolita. Tory Burch, $398
A FANTASTIC BODY MOISTURIZER
I am getting very into products for my body skin, and I’ve likely already recommended this, but I’ve been using it more regularly since it’s starting to get cooler and drier in LA. It dries so quickly and feels so light, so there’s not a twenty minute window between putting it on and putting on my jeans. Uni, $43
A KID’S BARN JACKET
Just the cutest thing ever. It also comes in green. Crewcuts, $98
THE HAIR SERUM I’LL NEVER QUIT
I forget, I may have recommended this here recently - I know I put it in Earl Earl - but it bears repeating: this stuff is AMAZING. Nothing has kept my curls together better - that isn’t a gel - or made my hair feel softer or happier. I love it. Roz, $52
THAT’S ALL!
Love,
Laurel
