A while back I did a little edit here for coats for moms. And at first I thought it was a good idea, but then I was like…moms don’t need special coats…BUT! Then I remembered all the little things you need to make room for when you have kids (like extra pockets, not being a material you can’t stand to have muddy shoes rubbing against when you inevitably have to pick up your kid, not being so puffy or stiff that you can’t carry sixteen tote bags and all your kids’ backpacks at the same time. You know what I mean.
And then here, again, I was like - Mom Swimsuits! Then…moms just want a regular swimsuit like everyone else? But then….maternity suits. Suits for breastfeeding (or post-breastfeeding boobs). Suits that your toddler can’t pull down and let your titty hang out of. Suits that don’t have a surprise thong (not that moms shouldn’t show their asses, they should if they want to, but sometimes you get invited to the beach or a pool hang with other families you don’t know well and it’s too soon to give them the full show. Right? Right. Anyway, you should wear whatever you want 100%, but there are some sort of mom-specific needs that can be addressed, and here they are.
