What To Wear To Pickup/Dropoff + Everytown

Back to school!

Many of you probably have kids already back in school, but mine have yet to go back. So this may be a bit late, technically, but still, it’s an every day thing so thus is evergreen. Pick up and drop off outfit ideas that won’t make you feel too schlubby or too show-offy.

Or, if you’d like, you can read this poem, and then the comments that came with it, and consider diverting part of what you might have spent on pick up clothes/ anything unnecessary as a donation to Everytown. Because wtf is happening.

Beyond that, back to school! I do love doing pick up and drop off, and I don’t want to look like I just dragged myself out of a creek, so I usually try and put something on besides my sweats. So I’ll start with some pickup/dropoff outfit formulas that are easy as hell and won’t make you feel embarrassed about being over/under dressed for one of the most emotionally satisfying yet mundane acts of parenthood.
