What To Wear To The Playground

Please god do not make me go.

Listen, I love doing most things my kids like doing - I love taking them to the beach, to run around in the city, hiking, whatever whatever. However! Playgrounding is not my favorite. I feel so weird walking around and around the play structure kind of watching them, helicoptering. The fear that they’re going to jump off or fall makes me nuts, and I also just always feel so hot when I’m there. Hot and dusty. Like Coachella minus the MDMA

And yes, I’m aware that 90% of this newsletter is me complaining, but if I can’t do it here, where can I! There’s also an upcoming NL on that very topic, so stay tuned.

And playground clothes are challenging - you have to be practical, you have to be comfortable, you don’t want to make a scene, and you (ideally) don’t want to look like a slob - but also not like you got dressed to go stand around and push a swing in a sand pit. AND! it has to be something you’re cool with getting filthy. So! Here are some ideas.
